Faith in God

This is a certificate I just made for our Activity Day girls in our ward. It's seperate from the Faith in God book in which the Bishop & Primary President Signs. This one the leaders sign & give a reward for all their hard work. This certificate they can display on the wall or a desk in their room. These girls work so hard & we wanted them to know that as their leaders we are proud of them & love them to pieces.

Couple of things

I've finally got the hang of the digital scrapbooking in the PSE 9. I LOVE IT, even more now that I've learned how to add styles, ie: glitter, metal, etc....

Here is my 1st layout w/my baby girl on her 1st day of Kindergarten.

Here is some fun I had w/my nephew's name. He's so stinkin cute. His birthday is coming up in a few months, so I wanted to do something for him. Just like most young boys his favorite colors are red & blue. I hope he likes it.

Subway Art

I've been wanting to try making some subway art with one of my favorite church hymns.
Here's my first attempt at it. It will go on my wall.

Jealous much?!

I know I am. This gal Katrina is in my ward & LOVE LOVE all her cute flowers her girls wear to church & Activity Days. Guess what? She's doing a give away, check out her blog. http://whos-itsandwhats-itsgalore.blogspot.com/

Young Women's

I was asked to help make an invitation for an upcoming New Beginnings dinner for the Young Women in our Ward. Although, I was a barely a member at the time of being a Beehive I don't remember ever doing or attending a New Beginnings meeting. So I got to sit with the Beehive Class President & ask questions. See it's true, we still learn something everyday. I of course was excited to make these invites. I already had an idea in mind, she loved the idea (phew, thank goodness). She loved picking out the fonts & accessories. I think we did a fantastic job together & more importantly we had fun together.

The picture I'm uploading is not the original as the ding dong that I am at times, I didn't do a save as. REMEMBER ALWAYS DO A SAVE AS! I used the same size to make the backside as this is a postcard size invitation. It is very similar, just a few fonts are different.

Another Creation

I saw something similiar on a website & fell in love, I knew that I could recreate something similiar. Can't wait to print it & hang it. This is done in a 12x12 format.

I'm BAAAACCCKKK!!!!

Being M.I.A. has it's advantages & disadvantages. I was able to focus on other things, but I have sure missed being creative. It's such a release for me mentally. I will post 2 things I have just recently made. Both are 8x10 & I can't wait to print them. I think I'll get the professionally printed & put into frames for my kids.
